'Sijo' Art Lapham is a retired Correction Officer for the state of Massachusetts and now spends his time playing out with his band, teaching martial arts, spending time with friends and family, and of course, writing. Besides the various books featured on this website, Mr. Lapham has also written lyrics for over eighty songs as well as articles for various periodicals such as 'Back Issue Magazine', 'Films of the Golden Age', and 'Martial Arts Masters'.
